Precious Pets was established in 2005.

We are a family run business that is situated on our family farm of 150 acres. This is an ideal location for your pet with fun, freedom, love and affection.

Since 2005 then our business has expanded year on year due to customer demand. We are open all year round and cater for all breeds and sizes of cats and dogs. Our team are experienced with cats and dogs with special needs or those on medication. Your pet's comfort, safety and happiness is our priority when staying at Precious Pets.

In the heart of the beautiful Breffni countryside.

Precious Pets is located outside Cavan town in the heart of the countryside, making it an ideal retreat for your cat or dog.

Your dog will be exercised twice a day in the surrounding countryside. At our kennels, we also have a farm and pet supplies store which contains a wide range of products, feeds and supplies. Gift Vouchers are available for all products and services that Precious Pets provide.

Our History

  • 2005Precious Pets Kennels

    In 2005, Precious Pets opened our first set of Kennels on our 150 acre family farm in the heart of the Cavan countryside. In 2008, as our business grew, more Kennels were added due to the increasing demand.

  • 2010Precious Pets Cattery

    In 2010 we open our Cattery. We cater for all breeds and ages, each individual pen is spacious, clean and includes cat scratchers and toys to keep your pet amused.

  • 2014Precious Pets Mobile Farm

    In 2014 we open our Precious Pets Mobile Farm, bring our farm to you. With a wide range of animals, we cater for all events - birthday parties, schools and open days to mention a few.

  • 2015Precious Pets Grooming

    In 2015 we open our Dog grooming facility. A professional service for washing and grooming your dog leaving them smelling and looking great!
